It started to drizzle as we were heading out. Another busy day with five sightseeeing stops.
Stop #1: Yigal Alon Museum in Tiberias
One of the museum’s popular attraction is the Galilee Boat, a 2,000 year old ferry and fishing boat. There was a pier behind the museum, and several boats were offering ride around the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kineret). The boat ride lasted for about an hour, and was surprisingly smooth even though it was rainy and windy that day.
Stop #2 Tabgha
Many believed that the miracle of multiplication happened in Tabgha.
Stop #3 Capernaum
It was raining heavily when we arrived in Capernaum and I left my umbrella at the hotel. The camera just mostly stayed inside my bag and I only took a few snaps. There was a memorial/church built over the ruins that is believed to be the house of St. Peter. The memorial has a glass floor that allows you take a peak of the ancient house below.
Stop #4 Caesarea Philippi
Stop #5 Golan Heights
