2016 | New York Day#01 Highlights

A few months ago, I started planning a trip to New York City. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there, and I still had a long list of places I wanted to see and experience. We flew out of Los Angeles on Friday morning and spent the Labor Day weekend in NYC.

We got up early on Saturday and rode the #1 train heading down to South Ferry/Battery Park. We spent a few minutes walking around the park before boarding the ferry bound for Liberty Island. We climbed the 215-steps up to the statue’s pedestal and was rewarded with a beautiful view.

I work night shifts. I drink far too much coffee. On my days-off, I like to walk around and take photos
