Saturday Walk #03

For this walk, I explored a section of the route that I take on the way to work. The auto repair shop went out of business a few years ago, and the building looked run-down with its facade covered in graffiti. But the building also has beautiful murals painted on its walls.

2017 | Hill Aerospace Museum

We spent about 20 minutes looking at the aircraft display outside Hill Aerospace Museum. We were pressed for time and needed to get back on the road again. I could only manage to shot a few frames.

2017 | Jackson Hole, Wyoming

We stopped by Jackson Hole, Wyoming on our way to Salt Lake City. We saw Grand Teton as we made our way into the city center. We had a quick lunch and checked out some of  the shops nearby the restaurant. After an hour and a half, we’re back on the road again.

2017 | Yellowstone in Black and White

We were in Yellowstone for over two days and made stops to some of its popular attractions. I did not keep up with taking notes during the trip, so I don’t recall the names of the places we’ve visited.

Here’s a few of my favorite photos:

2017 | Don King Western Museum

I can’t remember if we stopped by Sheridan, Wyoming on the way to or back from Yellowstone. I did not take any notes on this trip and so the days are all jumbled up in my head. While in Sheridan, we went to visit Don King Western Museum. It also serves as a saddlery so we got a glimpse of the saddle maker’s shop and tools. According to the museum attendant, it takes about a month or sometimes even longer to make a saddle. It all depends on the saddle makers’ level of experience and the intricacy of the saddle’s design.

2017 | Mount Rushmore

The second stop on our South Dakota trip was Mount Rushmore. I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful Black Hills landscape as we drove up the mountain. It was mid afternoon when we arrived and I was feeling a bit tired. We’ve been traveling for days and we still had a few more days of travel ahead. I didn’t hike up the Presidential Trail instead I took photos as I walked around the observation deck and amphitheater.
